SmileSIM®
Visualize end results before your treatment begins!
Nothing is more motivating than a side-by-side comparison of your current smile next to one that’s enhanced by cosmetic dentistry. SmileSim is a smile simulation tool that allows you to plan for your new smile and the process is painless!
How it Works
Dr. Browning will take a picture of your smile, upload it onto SmileSim and select the treatment option. The simulation results will be ready within an hour and you can see your new smile.
Digital Scanner System
Digital Scanners have opened the world of dentistry to a more accurate and faster way to document the details of your mouth. Dr. Browning has invested in one of the world’s best scanners. This scanner allows her to track damage done to your teeth from grinding, take digital impressions, and helps treatment plan smile design. Impressions often have to be taken of your mouth if you need a crown or another type of restoration. However, physical impressions made with dental putty are uncomfortable, messy, and sometimes need to be redone. Our digital impression system is far less error-prone and can be relied on to design crowns, bridges, night-guards and other restorations that fit perfectly.
Intraoral Camera
Intraoral cameras have several important benefits and one of them being that they can be used to take images of your mouth from a variety of angles. First, they show your teeth and gums in crystal clear detail so that we can pick out potential problem areas more easily. Furthermore, they provide us with a means to show you exactly what we see in your mouth so that you understand what is going on. We use Mouthwatch intraoral cameras because they are extremely easy to use and make the process as efficient as possible.
Digital X-Rays
With the advent of digital technology, taking X-rays is faster and safer than ever. You’ll be exposed to far less radiation during the process, and we do not need to use chemicals to develop the final images. Not only will the results be available within seconds, but they will be extremely detailed, giving us a clear view of the various structures inside your mouth. We can enlarge these images as needed to ensure that no issue is overlooked no matter how small.
Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry
Our Bluewave Diode Laser changes the way we perform surgeries and other procedures related to the gums. If you are someone who suffers from cold sores and mouth ulcers, our laser helps stop the process of these painful events. The precision of the laser beam makes it easy to limit the amount of tissue removed. Also, the heat from the laser cauterizes blood vessels and capillaries, which means there will be less bleeding during the procedure itself. Finally, dental lasers are time and performance efficient and less healing time is required afterward.
